Supporting bereaved people with additional needs - resources for delegates

During this online webinar, held on Wednesday 19 July 2017, a Brake volunteer shared their personal experience of providing support, and the event also featured an extensive talk from Sue Read, Professor of Learning Disability Nursing at the University of Keele.

Content covered within the event included practical guidance on supporting bereaved people with additional needs, alongside an overview of challenges that bereaved people with additional needs may face and an academic discussion of the ways in which people with special educational needs experience and process bereavement.

A recording of the webinar is now available on our YouTube channel here.
